Humboldt Early Years Family Resource Centre

The Humboldt Early Years Family Resource Centre (HEYFRC) has a mission to enhance the well-being of children and families in the Humboldt area. Staffed by Early Childhood Education professionals, HEYFRC allows caregivers and their children to access programs that help children meet their mental, emotional, cognitive and physical developmental milestones in a safe and supportive environment. The centre was created following a Government of Saskatchewan funding announcement in April, 2021.

Horizon serves as the accountability partner while PARTNERS Family Services is responsible as the staffing partner. Horizon supports a full-time program designer role to create targeted strategies to support developmental milestones for children from birth to age 5. The collaborative efforts focus not only on addressing immediate needs, but on laying a solid foundation for future success through building robust partnerships to enhance and expand programming.
