Horizon School Division runs leagues in for junior girls, junior boys, senior girls, and senior boys.
District championships use a 'final 16' bracket format, with senior teams competing for the opportunity to advance to the SHSAA HOOPLA provincial championships.
2025-26 HCAA Championship Information:
The HCAA uses a "Final 16" (1A Boys) or "Final 8" (2A Boys, 1A & 2A Girls) style bracket draw to determine the Junior Boys 1A & 2A and Junior Girls 1A & 2A District Champions.

NOTE: There are no District Championships in Senior Basketball, as all teams enter directly into the SHSAA (Provincial) playoff structure through SHSAA Conference play. Schedules and results can be viewed at www.shsaa.ca.
